Product Review | Canada Pooch

Canada Pooch is a Canadian based pet apparel designer, offering products that cater to the changing climate in Canada. From rain to snow, and everything in between, Canada Pooch has something for your pet. They have some really neat products on their site, check them out at: http://www.canadapooch.com

Yuki, our resident mascot, was lucky enough to test out the Storm Slicker by Canada Pooch. Now, I wouldn’t normally tout about a product unless it was truly wonderful. The first thing I noticed about this rain coat was the quality. The material, seams, zippers and velcro were all GREAT quality – this was a pleasant surprise because it was beyond my expectation. The double layered raincoat dries quickly when wet, and withstands the wear and tear that Yuki put it through (ie. chasing squirrels in a shrub with branches and burrs).

The jacket uses double velcro to fasten the jacket, which was a lot easier to put onto Yuki, compared to buttons or snaps. The velcro strips close quickly and easily, making the dressing process as painless as possible (for all parties involved).

The hood on the jacket was a great size because most jackets with hoods tend to cover her eyes, immobilizing her when hoods are too big. This hood sits neatly on the top of her head, protecting her from getting wet.compared to buttons or snaps. The velcro strips close quickly and easily, making the dressing process as painless as possible (for all parties involved).

The zippered pockets were perfect to stuff poopy bags, saving me from carrying the bag in hand or using a dispenser. The waterproof seam protects the contents in the pocket from water as well.

Yuki (and her mommy) loves this raincoat and would highly recommend it to all her doggie friends.
